2023-3-7 Snapshot Pax and Rex in Hologarden

After Pax gleefully proclaims that his energy system is fantastic with an attempt at humor, he is dismayed by a lack of enthusiasm for his comedic attempt from an off-screen audience that’s booing him and Rex chuckling at his expense.

In this setting, Pax is actually resting lower than he will in the final version in Final Cut Pro. This snapshot is from Character Animator and when alien Pax jumped onto the table his head went off-screen above. This would be problematic when imported into Final Cut Pro because the recording in Character Animator would exclude part of Pax’s head during the jump. This is why the size of the stage is taller than what the final product will be.

The hologarden is generated virtually as a collaboration between Rex and Pax, as a form of communication. They are buddies yet rivals at the same time. At the end of this scene sequence, Rex will be seen back on his UFO spaceship. The tea room setting of the hologarden was generated by using OpenAI and its artificial intelligence AI Dall-E software.
