2023-3-4 Rex new expressions - and AlienCon
Out with it already!
Ok - I’m at AlienCon 2023 right now for the weekend in Pasadena. Not too far for me since I live in San Diego, North County. It was great doing a photo op with Giorgio Tsoukalos and capping it off with his autograph on it. Particularly noteworthy as well was meeting Robert Clotworthy who does the epic and memorable voice narrative for Ancient Aliens. “What if it were true?”
Solid.
I’ll commission him to say a few one-liners between certain key scenes, during the transitions. This will add an unexpected quality and dimension to the series.
Also at the show, I sat front row at Nick Pope’s talk about his days at the office back with the UK ministry of defense - the secretariat of so on and so forth… aka the UFO desk.
Tomorrow will include an interesting segment on abductions, which is a concept that helped spawn this animated series. In fact, the initial idea was to have Rex abduct a human in order to take an egg to create his hybrid son, but that received some fairly negative feedback internally. You know, human rights issues, women’s rights, etc. So, although this is what the grey’s actually do, in the series Rex acquires a human donor egg to create Brad.
But you already know this because you’ve watched the title sequence intro video on the home page “Base” of this website… Right?
The abduction phenomenon is so dang profound yet so in-everybody’s-face. It’s definitely a topic that still draws ridicule and disbelief from most people, which is incredibly unfortunate for abductees.
Imagine if an absolutely remarkable event happened in your life and nobody believed you. And they even thought you were insane. That’s brutal! It’s just so darn profound and horrifying that nobody wants to accept it as a real phenomenon. I’ll tell you this though, a documentary I watched a few years ago called The Seeding had authentic abductee interviews that shed real light on their experience meeting their very own hybrid children during a subsequent abduction. Kudos to those producers for giving these innocent people a platform to tell their story without ridicule. I have recently searched the film again but was not able to find it, which I believe is because it was removed from circulation because it may have been that element of Disclosure that the US government is not ready to share.
Another documentary that you can’t find anymore was on youtube back in 2015 or so and was a broadcast special on a major network narrated by Peter Falk - you know, Columbo, the old TV show. It was about the idea that the different races on earth look so different from one another because we are hybrids made from various extraterrestrial species who are all different from each other. Some ET race did it first, then a bunch of others got the memo and turned earth into a freak show.
